- Increase awareness of our mission, program, and mandates;
- Enhance relationships with all key stakeholders and community partners who have a vested interest in our program outcomes (protection of children),
and;
- The Education for all concerned on the necessity of working together for the overall well being of children.
CARE TEAM ACTIVITIES:
Since the beginning of our C.A.R.E. Team endeavor, we have completed 55 presentations to 100 groups/organizations. This team has provided information about the work of Children Services to 1,178 citizens.
Thirty-three (33) of these presentations were done in 2009 for 795 participants. We finished Phase I, which was focusing on community service providers and began Phase II, which focused on general community partners (such as civic groups). To date, we have shared information about our agency with 33 social service agencies/providers, 11 general community organizations (including civic groups), and 8 schools. Presentations for social services/community providers are one (1) hour long and target the entire staff of the host agency.
If you would like to see our presentation please contact Melissa Keylor to schedule this.
